I love snowdrops but don't have any, I will be planting some in the autumn.

Don't do that Tracey. Plant them in the spring with the leaves still on.

    Google 'snowdrops in the green'

Thanks nutcutlet, all these tips I'm getting are great. Just googled it and looked at an RHS article, very interesting and will now go and but my snowdrops in Spring. Thank you. T

    Try this one Tracey.

Galanthus nivalis are your bog standard snowdrops. 50 for £5. They also have doubles and fancies. But they're not the only supplier. Have a look at others.

Yes in the green. I planted mine as bulbs two+ years ago hence the slow start but we'll worth the wait.

and once you've got a good clump you can divide them and have hundreds.

Yes it's a a great feeling of achievement  being able to divide and multiply your own grown goods. Just as good to share once overcrowded will  be a few years yet with my snowdrops though!

I've had a look at those nutcutlet, seems like a good deal but are they grown, it says on the details about the plants that they are bulbs.....confused.com LOL!!!

They are bulbs. Snowdrop bulbs dug up after they've flowered. Leaves still on.  Best time to move them, they don't like being dried out and sold in bags in autumn

Ah right, I misunderstood (again - LOL), I thought you meant buy them when they are just finishing flowering. Now I understand and may well buy some tomorrow, thank you and sorry to appear so dim.
