She said it has purple flowers, I'll take a picture of it tomorrow, id imagine it was fairly hardy as it looks like it was dug out the ground and not from a pot

Moses in the bulrushes could be Tradescantia spathacea, if so, it's only hardy down to 10 C so best kept in a pot and brought indoors in winter.
