Is it ok to make leaf mulch now as I have all these leaves on the ground in my new garden?

But bare in mind that plants with waxy leaves will usually take a lot longer to break down, compared to most natives and thinner leaves plants.

They go down quicker if you put them through a shredder or pick them up with a mower
