i have a wisteria it has been planted for over 15 years,every year it gos through the motions of doing what it does until the pods are due to open and then nothing what i mean is there is nothing inside ?

my wisteria flowered for the first time after seven years, i have just noticed it now has pods on that look like runner beans, i presume that i can grow the grow from seed it can take seven or more to flower but if it comes up from the root it will flower on its own the next year.
