have been given two jartropha podagrica bulbs not sure which way two plant them as they look as though they could go either way anyone help

Sorry I don't have an answer for you - only a question! What are they? I can't find this in my gardening books.
I cnt find them in any of my ref books either. My advice would be trial and error. If you pot em on in plant pots let them start to develop and adjust if ness.
the leaflet say's it's a tropical bottle plant look's like a large pear and it should flower nearly all year found it on a spalding bulb leaflet
