Slender speedwell nightmare

My lawn is absolutely full of slender speedwell. Domestic lawn weedkiller has no effect whatsoever and the thought of hand weeding it all out fills me with fear and dread. Is there any solution other than to dig the lawn up and returf? As my neighbour says, "at least it's green"!
