Wishes and resolutions

Well its that time again when we look forward to the new year and what we say we are going to do, although in my case at least its more wishful thinking rather than anything I am actually going to achieve.

So what are your wishes and resolutions for your garden, or anything else for that matter.

Having seriously lost control  over the last season and a bit (Open for ngs to wilderness in less than two years), my resolution is to bring it back in line.

    or at least a bitimage

Controlled wilderness is such a difficult look to achieve in my case anyway. It tends to look as though I have given up rather than getting that naturalistic look, that when done well is beautiful.

    Good luck Nut.

  • To only grow about 5 times as many plants from seed as I can find room for instead of 10 times as many! image

Good one Verdun, maybe I should join you. Saying that I don't think there is anything wrong with your forum posts. Maybe I should engage my brain before I type.

I must learn not to pot on ( and re-pot) everything that germinates and if I can't give plants away, compost them without crying. Last year nearly 50 tomato plants and only needed 28, ended up begging neighbours to have extra.

Oh Verdun, please don't become all tactful and polite and please keep your awful jokes comingimage

    Totally agree artjak.

Verdun without the awful jokes would make a bad 2014

  • As its going to be the yr with a special birthday my wishes are endless. My gardening resolution is to read and follow instructions on the seed pkt/ pots as they are there for a reason and not to be ignored. Convince my husband that a greenhouse is a need rather than a want.

Weyplotter; I agree, gardening with a greenhouse is so much more economical.

A very happy new year to everyone, may all your seeds (and dreams) germinateimage
