I think Pash is 'bumping' the threads up to try to push the spam down.

hi all I grow my carrots in header tanks ( the tank in toilet when you flush) put a few bricks in base cover with old membrain put sprinkle slug pellets in base incase slugs get in holes (also drilla few holes in bottom so to much water can drain away ) mix good soil with a good compost b/f/b  mix make the lines for seeds I have I seed container that you just tap jently and 1or2 seeds drop out  saves waste cover firm down with a home made press  water with a good spray head  so water in fine not a big flush to wash seeds away put a few slug pellets on top put tanks on top of water barrels about 4ft of ground   so far good carrots ( some people say a lot of fussing about for nothing )  but I useualy have better crop than them     and it keeps me mind working   Michael

I start my carrot seeds in cells and transplant into a large straight sided tub with a mixture the same as other respondents. Great carrots every year.
