  • I take it you have back-up generators Bill, keep warm there.

  • hope you've got a decent log-burner

our weather man is threatening us with gales too, but hopefully not the ice and snow as my grandson is playing for open air carols on Christmas Eve

On a more positive note you do have wonderful ice wine in Toronto.

  • Forester2 Its 418 pm and my dear wife has cooked supper early just in case.

Nutcutlet at that time Toronto was controlled by Orangemen,I dont know your families religion but if you were Catholic you never got a job. That's all changed now.

    300.000 without power.

  • No generators and no fireplace, just two finger I keep crossed.

Steephill our ice wine comes from Niagara about an hours drive from here,I'm glad you like it.

Bill your weather and problems have been on television news. Fingers crossed that you don't lose your power.

Don't want to make you too envious but I am in Perth Australia  staying with my daughter,son-in-law and grandchildren ,the weather is lovely but some how carols seem funny listening to them in the sunshine  and it's odd to see Christmas trees next to BBQ'S, but being with  my family at this time off year is great , and we are having turkey dinner on Christmas Day with all the trimmings .MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
