We grow runner beans,brocoli, broad beans,spinach, beetroot, swiss chard, artichokes, raspberries, blackberries, tayberries, rhubarb, loganberries, and soft herbs such as rocket, pak choi, parsley,chives, lettuce, sorrel, cucumbers,tomatoes.
Our problems are not sun v. shade but heavy clay soil, which gets waterlogged easily from the school playing fields next door. One raised bed helps but not by a lot!
I agree sorrel is great as is pak choi and tatsoi.
i have peas growing in the shade this year as a experiment and they already flooded with pea pods on them so there a definate YES on growing in 100% shade, check my youtube vid on it for evidence type gummer4england in youtube and check my latest vid on it
