  Not really, Lulu - it's one of the least fussy shrubs there is.   Plant in full sun for the best flowers but it'll handle part shade.

  A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

  Just make sure it's somewhere you can see it from your window, or every time you step out of the door - it'll delight you every day throughout the winter
