Debs64, I like your way of thinking and I will definitely be switching to wooden markers. I use plastic seed trays because I find them better when watering. Does anyone have any suggestions for replacing, I do a lot of propagating from seed.
Does it matter Mulberry Badger.....if you re-use the plastic trays over and over again there's no problem. If you are using the cheap flimsy ones, then dump them at a recycling site, and replace with the more expensive solid ones which will last years and years and then leave them in your will to a gardening friend.

Spray a little CRC or WD40 on a rag and wipe the plastic strip clean
