The best journey always takes us home' - very true SGL, but no trains can take me back to my beloved Cornwall at the moment. It's very hard to keep my thoughts positive when I see some of my favourite places being slowly destroyed, and local people in such distress. I know that come the summer and the warm sunshine, my thoughts will be totally positive, but for now I feel so helpless looking on. I just hope the Cornish (and of course the people in Devon,Dorset, and Somerset ) can soon feel more positivity than I do - knowing their strength and resilience I'm sure they will.
No Lily, I was already sad. Your beautiful quotations and snippets just help concentrate my mind and encourage me to put any negativity behind me - thank you.
Tradition has it that Cornwall was God's chosen country, and the Devil would not cross the Tamar for fear of ending up in a Tiddy Oggy - seems like he's knocking at the gates at the moment!
