Tiny Onions & Parsnips

Onions....I sowed them on may 11th and they are still only about 6 inches tall and the bulbs are not really showing

Parsnips....Sowed on the same day and still relatively small

Friends.........Is this normal please.

Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

    Thanks Dave thats what I thought

    I think it may be have been not weeding eneough or not watereing every time

    Onions.........Some were sown where potatoes had been and some where carots had  been

    Parsnips......Where Runner beans had been

    ? Should I leave them or dig up and use and use the bed for an Autumn planting now

  • I think I'd use the onions for pickling or as salad onions.

    How big are the parsnips?

    I think both should have been sown earlier. They both need a long growing season.

  • Mmmm, he sowed them early May and it was a very cold spring ....
