The worm casts indicate that the soil under your lawn is healthy and is being aerated by the worms who will also drag down vegetable matter into the soil to decay and fertilise the soil and improve the soil structure - there's no need to stop them, just sweep over the lawn with a besom (or a witch's broom if you have one left over from Hallowe'en) before mowng, and be thankful that you have them. Your lawn would not be as good if they were not there
