Help with screening neighbour's new 5 metre garage.

Hi Please, please we need help. Our neighbours garage is up - it is 5 m square and 5 metres tall. It is 8 metres from our glass folding doors in the lounge. I am very upset looking at it's hard lines and size. 

We are looking to plant in front of the dividing 2m tall wooden fence but don't have much room. We will not be able to make use of the garage wall. We thought of flowering cherry - but so many to choose from. We have a metre wide border then grass for about 5 metres then 1.5 metres patio stones.
