No excuse for a dirty room - whatever the price nut.  Bargain basement rooms should still be clean. Name and shame.

My ex partner and I one stayed in a bad hotel - too many things to relate - but we were able to look back on it and laugh - eventually! We were doing two groups of Munroes for the weekend and needed a base, but we baled out after the first night. Fortunately we were accomodated very well further along in the next village!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

We're laughing already Fairy, and so are most of our friends. The rest of the event far outweighed the awfulness of the accommodation

Still going to Trading Standards though

Glad you had a good time nut. Our walks that weekend made up for it. What made my partner angry was that, as it was a busy time of year, we didn't have many choices of quiet locations in the area, and the blurb for the place was a total pack of lies. He told them when we left though! My 89 yr old Dad could have made a better job of the meal we had that night! image

Been there Farmer, just Trading Standards to go. I've got a very full couple of days then I'll do the job. I'm not looking for compensation, just to get them closed down. image
