That hellibore is gorgeous Dove - such a shame they hang their heads. It looks like you were lying on your back to take that one.
Most of my hellebores are in pots Forester, I lift them onto the garden benches at this time of year as we're unlikely to sit out on them, and the flowers are more visible - so I wasn't lying on my back, just squatting
When I have too many to fit on the benches, then there's the table on the terrace, and the wall alongside part of the terrace, it's about 3' 6" high which is perfect for them. I've got it all planned
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
If I have upset any of you I apologise, I keep rising to the bait from you know who. Perhaps i should withdraw for a while.
Oh dear....I've been absent for half a day and it's kicking off again!
Punkdoc, no need to for you to withdraw anywhere. However, let me say that Brumbull's message you responded to was addressed to me and you must have noticed, I had ignored him......with hindsight it would have been better if you had too.
Brumball is as transparent as a gin & tonic, he gets his kicks from upsetting. people who are happy to peacefully coexist.
May I ask that (however tempting) that you totally ignore his input into this thread.

Tracey they are Anemones. Sun lovers, or so I think. Easy to grow from bulbs. Many varieties. I have De Caen.
I might do what you have Dove and put the hellebores in pots which is something I never thought of - thanks for the idea

Thats a lovely white double, Kef.
Not as special as " little fidget". Who is flowering away
Put a few flowers from my (now) 5 in a dish of water and will tonight dine looking at them
Right enough is enough on this thread.
I obviously have my views and am not a fan of a certain person.
Just take it elsewhere.
I love this thread and as it's my birthday I'm entitled to have a shout, or I think I am, and you wouldn't like me if I turn green.
Next post on here had better be a nice photo, not any comment, or I'll turn into Jack Nicholson in The Shining.
Don't set KEF off when she's 28
Even my photo has got cross.
