Well actually, Dove....during my snapping trip today, came by this farm with some derelict outbuildings and asked permission to take a snap of them......the farmer looking at me puzzled informed me that they were due for demolition soon.
For one thing I think they have a special photographic appeal when they are in a tumbled-down state and for people like us I feel a record should be kept.
I absolutely agree - there were several ranges of similar buildings along the North Norfolk coast - I think all have been demolished now - I think they should have been Listed .... somehow you don't think of it until they're gone, they're so much part of the landscape it's as if they'll be there for ever.
A local printmaker I know has made a series of prints of some of them - so at least they're recorded.
