Loads of changing colour on the trees en route today but no chance to take any pix of them.
This was the view from about 2,000 feet up on Beinn an Lochain, near the Rest and be Thankful, taken on the way back down when the skies cleared a bit.
The 'long and winding road' back over the end of the ridge, and a hazy view down Glen Kinglas :

and the view across to the Arrochar hills - Beinn Ime (with it's smaller outlier on the left) and The Cobbler with the smaller Beinn Luibhean centre stage at the front, and Ben Lomond in the distance on the right :
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
