We had a lovely sunrise this morning Bob - unfortunately I was in the car so couldn't get a pic. The day turned out very well weather wise so it looks as if the little proverbs were off the mark today!
This was the moon last night viewed from my back door, courtesy of older fairylet
and this moss covered wall, in the forest on my back from my walk, caught my eye
The famous Corrie Fee 'amphitheatre' in Glen Doll
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Brought back some memories. I walked up Glen Doll to Braemar [ if I remember correctly ] when I was visiting my future in laws, on one of my first trips to meet them. I
It used to be great OH got to spend time with her parents, I used to spend time in the hills. Future FIL thoroughly approved, as he was an ex hill walker.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
I sometimes overlook these things Bob - I expect a lot of us do. It was nice to have a bit of time today to get photos as it was a shorter day's walking. The journey there and back was longer than the walk time
Meant to say that the sun coming up this morning was just like the colour of your lovely sunset.
There's something about those moments in nature - if you can capture them!

Once again, glorious pictures. Forester Pete..colour on that flower is lovely. Fairy, was just saying to myself there: What a beautiful country we live in everyone eh?!
We're certainly lucky up here Clarice. I know we all like a moan about the weather, but when it's right ,there's nothing to equal - let alone better - it.
doc - I didn't see your post last night. I met two chaps from Arbroath walking the two hills the other way round. We had a nice chat and I met them back at the car park. I was surprised because they should have been back ages before me. They'd had lots of spare time so they'd walked a bit of Jock's road, which goes across to Auchalleter. It's also good access to the Lochnagar and some of the Glenshee hills from there. The views are great when it's a clear day.
