Wow...that's brilliant. Bought one for my son-in-law as a big birthday pressie recently....mainly because they were visiting the Maldives to celebrate.
The pictures were amazing, so I'm looking forward to seeing your shots, fidget.
Thanks ladies....I posted it because I thought it was a masterpiece of opportunism.
There is a little story to go with this.
Our club holds an auction on the last day of term (July) proceeds going to our local hospice......members donate the auction items. The picture of the 'Harvest mouse' was framed & donated by the member who took it.
This year Charles Hanson (TV auctioneer) did the honours and immediately fell in love with the picture, saying he would love to take it home for his wife.....anyway, it was finally knocked down (to him) for £55.
Probably an auctioneer bidding in such circumstances isn't strictly PC, but it was just a fun night and didn't really matter.
Superb picture David. The mouse is actually looking at the camera but still want to keep eating I'm glad that the proceeds went to a worthy cause. I'll be watching Bargain Hunt to make sure that Charles Hanson doesn't try selling it for double the price
Really looking forward to your underwater pics now fidget
Sorry Fairy it was - but I left the house number off just in case the local peasants make a nuisance of themselves

Thanks, Lesley never thought of that. We made just over £3000 on the night, so not a bad outcome.

Lesley - did you take that when you visited me last year?
We've had 'C' items in the shops for ages here. Ridiculous.
Looking forward to the pix fidget
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I didn't take this myself, it was taken by a fellow member of our camera club. However, I'd like to show it as I think it's a pretty remarkable shot.
David - how could anyone not love that! Fabulous pic
