Tell you a story about dandelions.....or to be more precise the photographing of.
The other day I spotted a perfect specimen seed-head of a dandelion growing in my greenhouse border (you see the kinda place I run here) and in my quest for a masterpiece I decided to take a macro shot of it (black TV screen background, the works).
I went into me shed, cut a piece of thin wire, back to the greenhouse, carefully snipped off the said dandelion seed-head, gingerly inserted the piece of wire into the hollow stem, opened the greenhouse door to return to the house......then Whoosh, a bluddy gust of wind blew it all away.

Ha Ha David. They are quite attractive really, but we still try to get rid of them.
Whilst driving along I noticed how many verges were choc a block with dandelions. Seem to be far more than in the past
