    Very nice shots, Lyn....at first glance I thought they were Willow Herb. But no disgrace to them (Willow Herb) as I always think that many of nature's so called weeds are quite stunning on closer inspection.

    Bottom picture is Busy Lizzies, I want to say Verbena for the top but don't think that's right...

    Edit - No definitely not Verbena, not sure what they are, Not very good on my bedding plants I'm afraid...

    They are phlox drumondii, I think, David.

    I remember Busy-Lizzies! I still grow them every year from plug plants. Had a few ill ones about three years ago, but all OK since. Perhaps France didn't suffer so much.

    Higgy - I knew they were Busy Lizzies.....I just wondered if anyone remembered them, post mildew disease.
