hi david no classes for 2 weeks because of half term and holidays back next Wed then on Sat a field trip to Kirby Lonsdale lots of interesting old buildings there and the river and famous devils bridge of course.
You can all share the stream and pond, but there is a catch, you must provide me with a limitless supply of cake and, you must help with the annual task of removing silt and reeds from the pond, a real back breaker.
I'll provide the cake - Verdun is very good at removing silt and reeds from the pond
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I know we already have our ‘Garden Gallery 2013’ thread and it’s great for sharing pictures of our gardens.
However, I (and others) feel there is room for a thread where we may share other stuff, so with this in mind I’m starting this one that will hopefully be more photography orientated.
Perhaps we could post pics of gardens & places we have visited, wildlife, macro (close-ups), sunrises & sunsets, patterns, landscapes……the list is endless.
I’ll start things off with this pic I took earlier in the year of my local bluebell wood:
David! I have just seen your photo for sale on the internet (Lots of money in photography)
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

It's been a topic of conversation at our camera club and well known that people copy our work, but regarding selling them, it isn't something I've considered.
Copyright law is so complex and almost impossible to enforce, I give it very little thought. However, perhaps this illustrates that when we put our pics out on the WWW, we have very little control over them.

I've got a stream in my garden just now - it's not meant to be there though...
If I clear it all, can I get cake Dove?
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

The same wood on the same day.
I'm puzzled, Lyn!
That is most certainly my picture (one of several I took on the same day) and haven't given permission to anyone to use in a sale.
As I've said here previously, I have a Flickr account and I'm aware that pictures I post in that account can be accessed via Google.
David - this is the company which is selling your photograph

It doesn't bother me too much, Dove......certainly don't want any hassle.
I think it may be likely it perhaps isn't the mine. Bluebells grow in mature beech woods and for this reason they often look alike.
For instance, I took this at another time......see the resemblance?
Definitely the first one David, selling for 74.00
Yes, it's definitely the first one - it is yours, I've compared the shadows etc on each one - but if you don't mind then it's not a problem.
But for some people it's worth bearing in mind that other people may try to make money out of other people's work unless it is protected.

Perhaps I should reflect on my Fkickr account.
