Nature

Many of us noticed the lack of ladybirds all summer.

Today i visited our local park and noticed a seat covered with green fly and ladybirds.

All mixed large, small, black, red , orange, two spot, ten spot  harliquin and the strange babys.

I was fasinated watching them  for some time all mingled together and hurrying around.

But i did not see one green fly be eaten, not one!!!

What was going on??

Neither have I. Bet it was fascinating.

I found more ladybirds when I removed my runner beans than I've seen all summer. Re- housed them on nearby plants.

Our globe artichokes were covered in ladybird larvae, so we couldn't harvest some of them
