Hi there. New to this forum and wanted some help..... i recently purchased from the garden centre some potato tubers ready for planting for xmas potatoes. I planted them and they grew lovely lush growth. Have earthed them up and all seemed ok.... but all of a sudden the top growth has turned brown and wilted. I have cut it back to below ground level and some are beginning to re-sprout. Is this blight and will the top growth come back and more importantly, will the potatoes grow?

Yes it is blight.
That's the problem I've found trying to grow potatoes for Christmas, it might help if you can grow them in a greenhouse, but outside I've not had any luck.
