Eucalyptus Tree - should it stay or go?

  My thinking was to trim them aggressively  with what you have mentioned - make sure that the trees are trimmed safely 1st..

  my parents are 92 and 87 so re planting would not really help them now for their privacy screen and noise barrier. 

  I'm not sure what kind of eucs they are but will look into that
