Dove - I know nothing about footie other than the second hand info from two exes, but even I can work out that if teams pay gazillions of pounds for Luigi Ikickathebest from Italy and Pedro Passmetheball from Spain to fill up teams, it means home produced players don't get a look in.
Anyway - I've had my boiled eggs so I'm off for now. Have a good day all.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lol fairy, It always amazes me when the manager gets the blame and then gets sacked. The amount the footballers get paid surely they should all know what they've got to do to win.
Morning all back from the car boot. Couldn't wait for Wintersong's croissants so just had bacon and egg bagel yum yum.
Don't worry Dove, I only bought two old terracotta pots. I didn't even buy any plants which is a miracle.
Verdun I didn't watch the game last night - I am the most underwhelmed I have been about the world cup since the 80's. I just went to bed so I could get up nice and early.
Going to put some washing on and then potter in the garden. Take care all see you later.
It still doesn't feel warm enough to go out into the garden - it is of course - if I put a jacket on - but there's nothing urgent that needs doing out there and I've got half a dozen duck eggs to use, so I think a sponge cake might happen this morning
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Compost and some timber bought so I can get on with more construction work. Tray of 'reduced' strawbs also purchased Bought a little montana Grandiflora for two quid in Morrison's so I'll pot that on till it gets a bit sturdier. Spent a fortune on 8 or 9 of those for the long, ugly boundary fence at last house - bunnies kept 'enjoying' them - but I see they are now thriving so my hard work at protecting them paid off. Hope the owners appreciate it but I doubt it
Cup of tea consumed so I will have a quick look round here and then get on.

Hi Stacey glad to hear that all is well
Verdun didn't think you were English thought you were Cornish
Just eaten bacon and mushrooms so I'd better go and burn it off.
See you all later

Morning all
Big lie in following late night
Fairy, I agree with your summary of the state of football in this country. I do love our self inflated opinion of how well we'll do though
Overcast here too, which will suit OH when we go to the Aged P's for a BBQ later! I'd have liked a bit of sun though.
Happy Fathers Day to all
Off to get dressed and have some brekkie. Catch you all later.
