I've just uncovered much of the overgrown path in the front garden and strimmed the edges - OH came along and swept up all the mess and now he's got his bike out - he says he's in search of ice cream image

Fairy - thanks for the pic.  It could work very well if we keep the dog from pulling it up, although she is getting better with age (aren't we allimage)

Panda you never said anything about your lighting schemeimage

Dove, you have been working so hard and I've been mucking about washing, cooking, taxiing and dog walking.  Then it rained.  Your UG sounds ideal.  I love it when someone clears up the messimage

Congrats Verdun - it's about time Cornwall won something!

Japanese blood grass has never established well here. Prob the same size (maybe smaller) as when I got it about four years ago.  If I dig a bit up and grow on in a pot what do I need to do to keep it happy in the beds? Guess drainage, temperature, light and competenceimage

OK with it now - my sports mad menfolk are out playing/watching or they would have put me right.  Have a drink on me - I'm sure there was a glass left last night.image
