Still no sign of my snow drops that I ordered near the same time as Tracey. Nor an email to say when they'd be arriving. I want my snowdrops!! (They've had my money off me - I checked) Emailed them to see if they've got a delivery date yet. Perhaps they ran out!!
KEF - hope your toe desensitizes soon!
Stacey - I hope you get that lovely lawn! Ours is going to need some work this year - its been bashed around with the project Man Shed base being put down and many tons of cement / sand / paving slabs being left on it for several weeks.
Hmm. Their website says they aim to ship within 7 days (I ordered on the 4th March, they took the money on the 6th) on a 24 hour delivery service and that they don't take money until they're ready to ship.
Too early in the day to be hoping they turn up today?
That's a shame Clari, fairy has had hers too I would give them a call and check, fingers crossed you get them soon.
I've sent them an email (stuck at work today in an open plan office so calling isn't easy although as you might have guessed I've no work to do!) So hopefully they'll reply soon. It would have been lovely to get them all established this weekend just gone as I'm hoping to have another session planting upthe pond this weekend if the plants are in stock (bad back + generally tired / out of shape means everything has to happen at a snails pace! V frustrating since I remember spending my spring holidays moving many many tons of horse poo in my mums garden!)
Apparently the goods were despatched on the 7th. So hopefully, providing the Royal Mail (or whoever they use) haven't spent all weekend jumping up and down on them or subjecting them to poor conditions, they'll turn up full of spring today (not sure this counts as their advertised 24 hour delivery service though!)
I will have to remember that next time I order plants to ask them not to despatch on a Friday (unless it is for a Saturday delivery) so that the plants aren't subjected to a weekend under the hands of the couriers.
Fingers crossed Clari, if it's any consolation, I only managed to get half of mine in last night at dusk as I was out yesterday and hope to do the rest today (in my lunch hour!!). Also, there are LOADS more than I ordered so hopefully that will compensate a bit for the lateness x
It was a tad dark Not much really to photograph either, just some green leaves that look a bit droopy until they decide they like their new home I have taken some of my orchids this morning though, will be posting later when I get my laptop out
