We've the birdsong of a blackbird that has learnt the noise of a car alarm - and quite convincingly!

Just been doing the ironing - there's ladybirds all over my shirts! Including a harlequin aka that invasive beastie - is there an official policy on what to do with them? Are we meant to squash or release?

Clari - i think release - they eat aphids too, and i think the battle is lost anyway - it'll take more than a bit iof squishing to stop their advanceimage

Morning Clari - at our last home we had a blackbird that mimicked the sound of a reversing lorry alarm.

Re Harlequins, think the policy is that they're here, we're not going to get rid of them so don't squidge.

Phew! I'm afraid I'm not sure I could squash them - I remember one year we had a swarm of them covering every inch of the house and the smell as you trod on them was Awful!

Work for me in  minute too. Off to put washing out first and then I'll keep my fingers crossed. Hope I might get something done outside later image

I see the spammers have been out again. There was another one about moving house which I reported but he's posted on another thread as well, trying to make it look legit. They don't give up easily do they? image
