Not had a curry for ages. Friend had already had her dinner when she came over so I didn't really have anything much last night. image

Don't think the slugs went to school Verd - that's the problem image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Back from a very wet walk as it threw it down when I was at the furthest point from homeimage. Still I'm back, changed, coffee in hand and feeling ready for a relaxing day.

Good morning to all the late risersimage.  Enjoy the golf Lily and hope you keep dry. Also had a curry last night KEFimage. Verdun and Fg - the only school the slugs went to here must have been circus school as I saw three up a tree trunk when I was out. One was at least twenty five feet upimage

Trouble with dog crosses is you don't know which bits you get from which parent. Poodle brains and Labrador hair hmmm...

Colsation  good guard dog but rounds up all the kids on the beachimage

    Morning all!
Went to the chicken farm yesterday Mrs G - can't thank you enough for recommending it! Despite it raining the lad there went through all our options and showed us what he thought would be our best bets. Really looked after us.
We've revised our plans and are now going for a recycled plastic coop that they sell - its hard wearing and you can dismantle it like Lego so it can be properly cleaned and kept mite free. Bit more saving to go!

Clari image glad its going well.

Morning all, raining again. Not sure what my plan is today yet...

Tsk, ladies! Everyone knows Panda's don't wear clothes. That was me dressed up for the theatre image image image

Today is all about putting together my hanging baskets . . . well those that I can image I know they aren't for everyone but they go quite nicely where I have no colour yet in the garden.

Have a good day all. Hope the rain stops for those that have it image

Hi fidget, we're lucky with not having the hair problem.  That's a lie - my hair is always a problemimage  Like the colsation idea.  Perhaps Clari may forget about the chickens when she could get a cockerdoodledoo instead.

Our neighbours moved away last year and I miss hearing their chickens when I'm weeding by the fence. New neighbours say they are thinking of having someimage

Morning all, well almost afternoon....I've had a bit of a lazy one because unusually there were two good films we watched last night so didn't end up going to bed until 1.30! It was a bit of a footie evening for us too, watched the Madrid match, then watched Mean Machine (with Jason Statham,.....phwooooarrrr) and then was going to go to bed but Bend it Like Beckham was on and I love that film so stayed up!!

Anyway, Grand Prix is on this afternoon so that's gardening time, I just can't decided where to put my sunflowers??

KEF, have you been to Spinalonga? I read a book by Victoria Hislop about a Greek leper colony (The Island) and would like to go.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning OL....No wonder you are excited about your holiday to Crete.  It's a beautiful place and I would go again anytime someone came up with the moneyimage

Spinalonga is a not to be missed experience.  I have read the book since I went and wish it could have been before as you can empathise with what the people went through. The only problem is that you have to share the experience with many, many others.

Next week it will only be 12 weeks. Start packingimage

Thunder and lightning now.  Glad I decided to have  relaxing day's gardening.  That translates to looking at this thread and gardening books, watching Chelsea that I missed and the Grand Prix. I am not a motorhead but I love seeing Monacoimage
