BB - can't believe you ever had the patience to get to page 821 a page at a time - that would be me exhausted, never mind adding a postimage

Glad Panda enjoyed the show - pics of you returning made me smileimage

Lots of weeding/forgetmenot uprooting done, marigolds for the GH planted, and all toms and cucumbers in their final pots.  Really pleased with my lupins and clematis this year - its all beginning to look nice and flowery out thereimage

'can't believe you ever had the patience....'

I was desperate to join in Chicky....!  Panda, did anyone else on the train notice you taking that selfie?

Our lupins are good too this year.  Never had much luck growing them here before now.  We actually had a cucumber from the greenhouse for tea today.  I was told to remove it on another thread, to give the plants a chance to beef up.  The weight of it had proved too much for my precocious plants - that's what comes of sowing too early.  I nearly have a chilli big enough to pick (for a very mild curry).  I planted out the peppers and thought they looked a bit small, and then remembered it was May, and having cucumber, chillies and tomatoes is abnormal, so I shouldn't worry about not having peppers yet.  I am determined to plant at a sensible time next year, having had no tomatoes till September last year, and windowsill triffids in March this year.  Next year, I'll get it right!

BB2, train was quite empty when I took my selfie image Chicky, I'm glad it made you smile. Is it wrong that it makes me smile too?

OH is watching footie image It was a bit exciting when Real Madrid scored in extra time, but then I realised that meant at least an extra half an hour image

Oh Panda, you too??  The forum is littered with posts from me this evening as I struggle to identify the meaning of life in the face of football.  OH said it would have been boring and insufficient not to have extra time in a final.  He bet on Real Madrid winning it earlier in the season, so has a vested interest, but of course, as typical Brits, we would prefer to see the underdog win.

Good to see I'm not the only one stuck with footie image I, however, wanted Real Madrid to win image

BB2, does Mr Bee win cash? Can he reward you with something for the garden for allowing him to watch? image

OH bets on the teams he doesn't like to win, and that way he can be philosophical whatever happens.  And BTW - his betting is very low level.  No more than a couple of quid here and there.

Won eight quid - whoopee doo!  And bet some time ago, so it gives you all and idea of how much he doesn't need to go to gamblers anonymous!
