I see lots of chatting has been done while I've been out grafting - not plant grafting, but painting and digging type grafting Verd!
Why did they have to change the name? That's a helluva mouthful BL isn't it? It'll be Dicentra in my garden...so there. I love 'lady in the bath' as the common name. I think it's just like a little Victorian type woman taking her ablutions.
Took a pic so I'll put it on the Gallery thread later if it's any good.
Could have sent you some plastic Dove - got a huuuge roll of it!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Hi to Janetclaire Welcome to the friendliest place on the forum!
Well, this afternoon became a lovely surprise visit to a nursery! Was to be taken on Monday but as Pa and Ma are off to Canada for two weeks on Tuesday Managed to purchase 10 fuschias, and 30ish mixed plants for my hanging baskets No pics Lily, sorry! Will plant them up Sunday and then take pics!
I had heard Dicentra had changed it's name, but I refuse to use it! I've just learned that one!
I love Dicentra/bleeding heart and didn't know it had changed name. I used to have two, a white and one just like the photo above. But neither have appeared this year, very disappointed. Maybe too much rain last winter?!
I have a white one which isn't looking terribly good this year - I'm wondering if it didn't like the wet winter - my plan is to pot it up in some free-draining compost, keep it in a sheltered shady corner and see if that helps.
