If you ask Dove nicely, she'll make you a 'special' cake.

Brilliant hedge Dove - someone near me has a dinosaur/Loch Ness monster looking one at the front.

Do you think he'll add flames coming out the mouth one day.....imageimage

    Hello all.

Have been a bit rough over the last couple of weeks. To cut a long story short [ 80s new romantic anyone? ] i have been wanting to start decreasing my meds., as i know it will take a few years to do, and I am fed up with the many side effects. My doctor has, in his wisdom decided, thet I need to have been well for at least 2 years before we can begin the process.

Horrible day here, foggy and heavy rain, on the supermarket trip.

Its my birthday tomorrow [ 27 X 2 + a couple ] so am off to visit a couple of gardens and then dinner at the Black Swan in Helmsley, a foodie place in North yorkshire.

Garden is coming along well, Cannas and Dahlias are sprouting in their pots, and will be ready for planting out soon, and the smell from my Hawthorn tree is intoxicating, it makes you feel quite drunk. In the wood, Sweet Woodruff, Euphorbia and Aquilegia are looking lovely.

KEF., I now have 5 Meconopsis flowering, but I think the rain might do for them.

Reading your goings on over the last week or so has definetely helped to keep me sane.

Hope the poorly, tired and all the workers are ok.

How can you lie there and think of England

Morning Punkdoc - thank your lucky stars you're not still doctoring - you could've been explaining to Ma why she was in A&E and  that she hadn't been kidnapped, but she couldn't go home RIGHT NOW!!! image image

Have a lovely birthday treat - I've heard of the Black Swan from Yorkshire foodie friends, so I'll expect a full write up image

Hi Punk, lovely to see you, sorry you've had a tough couple of weeks.....these doctors hey, always know best image I'm glad we've kept you sane though, although that is quite surprising image  I think there is a lovely deli at Helmsley called Hunters of Helmsley (the name makes me think it's the same place LOL!).

Happy birthday for tomorrow, have a great day and hope you're back to see us again soon.

I'm adding Cannas to my must have for 2015 list image Along with Alliums (AKA pom Pom plants!).
