Morning MrsG - a reveller returnsimage.  Had a catchup with some old (from uni days .... which was a looong time ago) friends - world has now been put to rights.  Journey home was a nightmare as they had shut the motorway for overnight roadworks, so I was sent on a magical mystery diversionimage

I will be going for the "free" lavenders again - arrive tiny, but grow on well if you have a GH or coldframe to coax them through their first winter.

Chicklet had last exam yesterday - household has heaved temporary sigh of reliefimage.

lots of rain to perk the garden up - but at work today anyway.  Think weekend forecast is a bit more showeryimage

Morning chicky, step sons exams continue after half term, so far he's had one day with no exam in 2 weeks.

I'll be going for the lavenders as well, once it will take my card! :S

    Good morning.

Rained most of yesterday and same forecast for today. Car is well washed and GH safe and dry in the garage. image Can't see anything happening with it until weather improves.

Lovely pics of plants on hereimage

Glad chicklet finished exams and a image for those who have more to come.

Verdun any chance your Mum could take mine to the fun place with her image

Enjoy bank holiday, guess Fairy won't get one up there. image

Hi Verdun, I'm sure you'll make your friend feel a bit better with your company and jokes. Hope it goes ok.

    Good morning all  image

I'd just got to bed last night when I had a phone call and then I spent most of last night 30 miles away in A&E  with Ma as she'd had a fall - no bones broken thank goodness and the plan is for her to be taken back to the care home after breakfast this morning.  She wasn't best pleased when she discovered she'd got to spend the night there, but she's not been able to get in and out of a car for some years, and the hospital transport wasn't going to take her back at 3.30am!  She had no idea why she'd gone to hospital, didn't remember falling, all a bit confused and she couldn't stay in because she was needed back on the farm in the  morning image  I got to bed at 4am, so please forgive me if I'm a bit dozy today image

Such a shame 'cos my son and I were going to visit them this morning and take them out for a push and go to the pier and help them eat ice cream - but I'm not driving down there this morning after last night's escapade.
