Morning all lovely morning here but forecast not good for later so my weekly trip to my local G/C this afternoon to see what bargains are in the sale corner. Dahlia tubers now all got growing again will take some cuttings and tulips well on their way also. You can feel everyone getting excited about all there planting for the year ahead it's a great time of year for all gardener's.

Morning all! Not much happening in the garden at the moment,  might need a trip to a garden centre to motivate me.

    Sunny today -5°, frost.

Went to see live film of Prince Igor last night by New York Met. Enjoyed it, some was very gloomy, but it had a sort of happy ending.

Slept badly, thanks to Arthur Itis, hands and hip. Flower beds too wet to weed, but creeping buttercups and grass are coming up. Think I'll blast them with glyphosate. Did the veggie garden about 6 weeks ago, in desperation, and it rained 2 hours later, but now it's almost weed free. Result! But I prefer to hand weed there. I use weed suppressant fabric where possible in the veggie garden.

    Morning all.

Congratulations to everyone. This thread has now reached 10,000 posts.

Cold and damp here, I am feeling under the weather, but there is so much to do in the garden that I am going to have to get something done.

I don't garden in my PJ's but I'm good at inspecting in them image Hopefully it won't be long before I'm out in my Summer dressing gown opening GH doors and smiling at the garden. I could do it today but what would the neighbours think if they look from their bedroom windows..note the subtle implication that I wander in PJ's unseen.

    Hi to all image

Lizzie hugs. I recommend a glass of something nice to ease the pain...well later in the day not at 10.20am image

Verdun & cider, bet that gets a bit silly image..luv you really image

Lily I'm impressed, is it just no Twix or no chocs at all? I was good yesterday, because there isn't anything to scoff, and don't intend on buying anything this week.

Drizzling so not going into the garden just yet. Will have to cut some purple sprouting broccoli for the meal, and that usually entails a wander around.

Have a happy gardening, or planning day everyoneimage

BFN, back later to see who has purchased what.

Isn't it awful when plants just jump into your trolley at the GC. imageimage

Morning All, had a quick catch up and looks like everyone was as busy as I was yesterday.  Had a great day clearing everything we didn't need to the tip ready for my greenhouse to go up, which was as going to be today but it's raining image.

Happy Anniversary for yesterday Stacey and hope all those that are under the weather are soon feeling better.

We were out with friends last night seeing a live band locally after having a Thai meal.

I'm hoping the rain will stop just for a little while so I can get on my veg patch!!

Have a good day everyone x

Not caught up yet, had others things to do yesterday afternoon and evening. Got some deadheading done though before the hail and rain.

Lovely morning here so washing out, bathroom cleaned and therefore feeling pleased with myself image Could do with getting some pots sorted and some plants in so will try and do some of that. Tomorrow's to be nice so might get more done after work.

PJ gardening is not for  me. image I don't even like hanging washing out if I'm not dressed. perhaps when I get to 29 or 30 I'll let things slide a bit...image

doc - take it easy. The garden will still be there tomorrow and it might be a nicer day image

Just realised I've not dead-headed the hydrangea!!!!!!!!!  That will have to be done today.
