  •  Bill, although you must be so very sad of the loss of your son, i'm sure you are very proud of him too, which is down to you and his mum. Enjoy his home by the lake and remember all the good times.

  • Time for bed for me, nite nite all

  • Agree totally with Edd ,Bill and i,m sure all the other forkers wll agree in the morning. It helps the healing to talk about and remember.

  • Bill, I can only echo what others have said. Your son was so brave. I agree with Lily that 'People live on on the lips of the living'. In time you and your wife will be able to smile at the good times you had together.

Hope someone will help you put the dock out.

With a world filled with so many bads things it has never been more important to keep the good people alive in our memories and your son definitely sounds like a good man Bill!

I woke in the night and looked out of the window and saw a really sharp frost glistening on the roofs  - Drat and Double Drat was my thought - I didn't fleece the fig!!! image

This morning I've checked my wonderful new digital garden thermometer - the sheltered back garden only got down to -0.2C last night - the tiny little figs on my fig tree should be fine image

Morning Dove & Kef! We've a sharp frost here which has the garden looking very clean and tidy.

Kef - are we still on snow alert? My new truck has been making lots of friends at work thinking I'll be an escorting service the moment it hits!

Last day til the weekend its pay day today!

Did anyone see the Northern lights last night? The school behind us insists on having all its lights on so we don't get much night sky but I'm told so many of us should have been able to catch it.
