I am back from the GC and what a lot of bargains there were. I spent £58 and for that I got a new border fork, a packet of Aubergine seeds and all of these........
I am now the proud owner of 2 beautiful Hellebores, can I join the Hellebores club please
That looks like a great shop Tracey What are the "sticks" at the back of the pic?
Afternoon all . . . had a lovely afternoon visit from my friend Catching up and putting the world to rights! Have some work to do but am desperately putting off!
I managed to spend some time in thegarden this afternoon and managed to mulch the Raspberries, plant out the strawberry runners I grew on last year, plant the Rhubarbs and move the Blackcurrant and Redcurrant bushes. All in all a good day! How was everyone else's day?
I think it's Dogwood, definitely not Clematis as I didn't get any today. To honest it was pouring with rain and there was only us in the GC so apart from the Hellebores which I was very specific with (they were £15.99 each and BOGOF!) I just got a selection and made sure some had berries. Not much to lose if they don't survive
When we have had dinner I will go and make a note of them all.....need it for my notebook anyway
Cool ur seeds are packed up already.... Don't forget to soak in cold tea over night!!! ( don't do what my husband did last year and a. Put them all in the same cup b. soaked them in his milk and 2 sugar tea!!!!!
It's been a lovely sunny day and I've actually spent 4 hours gardening. Pruned another climbing rose. The roses are starting to confuse me as they've all starting growing and it's still only February. I hate cutting off shoots with new leaves. Dug out a horrid stinging nettle from under the lilac, did some weeding, clearing of ivy and clipped a caryopteris.
First daffodil is out. Photo on Garden Gallery. I hope some people will put their gardens on Garden Gallery, some have already. I thought the camera thread was originally for photo techniques and good photos of other things. There is also a "Gardens we have Visited" thread somewhere. I love looking at everyone's photos.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I've finally sorted my seeds, decided I'd got all that I needed ......................... and then ordered some more that I wanted
Lizzie I think people have just been so keen to put lovely photos of their own on the forum just lately, that we've just showered the place with them - we'll probably get a bit more organised about where we put them now that life is more relaxed
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Great buy Tracey! The prostrate Gaultheria is a cracking little plant. I bought three last autumn.
I only have 2 Hellebores as well - is there a minimum requirement for membership?
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
