I love a good to do list. The only problem I have is that I seem to keep starting new ones, and never seem to get round to actually doing any of the jobs.

Nice to have a dry day, the water level is starting to go down fairly quickly, please, no more rain for a while. [ Come summer I will probably be praying for rain.]

Well I also feel like i have had my first proper gardening day this year - brambles banished, new snowdrops planted and slug pellets scattered for valentines day.  Oh, and group3 clematis all snipped too.  Plus lots of exclaiming and excited squeaking when new shoots were spotted.  Here are the best bits

I could hear the squeaks from here chicky. I've been doing the same.  I've got lots of germination. Paeonia delavayi, Arisaema ciliatum and lots in the mix from addict in last year's seed swap.

Pruned most of the Paul's Scarlet Climber in a sunny period. Hope there's another sunny period tomorrow to finish it.

Internet and phone played up again. France Telecom say it will be repaired by 6pm Wednesday, fault in the line.

Going off to make chicken in mushroom sauce with pasta and runner beans. OH has made pears in red wine - his speciality.
