Theres a lot of nutters out there, Panda. Not including us of course.
I was talking to my mum, about picking panda up at the train station, and trusting complete strangers. Thats why we are meeting in a public place. CCTV and all that. While we take a lot of statements at face value,we could be talking to a psychopath with gardening tendencies and a big shovel. We could be talking to someone living in a fantasy world(not counting verduns cabin and the cake).
But sometimes you just have to trust your gut instinct.
Exactly Fidget - whilst I'd have a purple fit if teenagers or naive adults did what I did yesterday, I'm a grown up (and have had Keeping Safe training for social workers etc).
And everything that happened yesterday happened in public places
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I would just like it to be known that I am a very friendly psychopath and my shovels are strictly for gardening / emergency digging cars out of mud / snow.
Funny isn't, my dils are on Facebook, and some of the things they tell me they have read on there seems rather inappropriate to me and too personal. Thankfully neither would put things on there like that.
I don't drive so i'd look rather weird on the bus with a shovel/pickaxe etc, bit of a giveaway
Funny tho in my head all you snowdrop walkers were brunette!!
Think the only fib we've all told is that we are all 27 except I'm 21
Lovely to see the photo of the snowdrop gang. You did look harmless although you can't always go by apearances. What was in the bags and haversacks I'd like to know?

My mum made the same observation as OH did in the cafe at Ashwood.
" This place is full of people, mainly women, of a certain age"
. Whilst a few people garden all their lives, a lot don't develop an interest until they get their own house and garden, or until they retire.

My chainsaw however...

Oh, I've been rumbled, psychopath in a "getaway" Yaris.
Seriously, quite some years ago I had safety training from Diana ( Susie) Lamplugh's mother. A very educating experience.
PM'd you Fidget.

Gosh, it never occurred to me that you lot might have been psychopaths!
