Phillipa I'll keep my fingers crossed about the tree.

Verdun we don't want your plants we want them safe and ok in Verdun county.

The news has actually now said about conditions in SW but showed us pics from days ago.

We are supposed to have gales tonight according to wedsites. Our local weather says some winds and rain & rain for the next 5 days. image

As we've all said stay inside Verdun. Doubt Spike will want to go walkies in that wind. Back lawn will do image

Gosh Verdun, it sounds terrible down there. Not had TV on all day so not seen the news, I know the wind has got up here in the last hour but nothing compared with what you are facing. Stay in and stay safe, plants and pots can be replaced if necessary image

I am going to bring my new greenhouse (flat-packed) into the dining room, OH will be well impressed when he gets home but better than broken glass.

On a brighter note (you should know me by now!)...Hellebores are definitely on the GC shopping list for weekend image

    Stay safe everyone.

Yeah, hide it in the cleaning, or cover it with a pile of ironing...did that one year with Xmas tree chucked dust sheet over a decorated 7' tree, April before OH spotted it.  I do tell porkies image it was March imageimage

Hello Lilliebee. Can I call you Bee? So I don't confuse you with Lily..as in star gaze lily.

  • Just had a phone call from my son - he's driving to St Austell in Cornwall for work - is about 30 minutes away - he now believes his poor old Ma when she told him that the weather was going to be awful, this morning he thought she was making a fuss!!!
