Hi Hazel. Yes I'm pretty good with watching what I eat. I have an intolerance to MSG and now with the T2 diabetes diagnosis, watch the sugar intake. I've taken a Telfast in case there is something else I'm reacting to.   Had a good sleep again last night.  I do think that heat is a factor and I can only do limited exercise when it's hot, so the air con got a good work out through the last bout of heat.  I just need to keep quiet and wait and see.  At least with being retired, it doesn't matter what I do.image

    Good morning all image

Just popping in while I drink my coffee and wait for the taxi to the station.  It's icy out there so everyone stay safe and have a lovely weekend image

  • Hi guys,  image

Thanks for posting some lovely welcome messages for Ginger 2 on the TV programmes thread. image

In case you've missed them... she has replied to all of you on that thread.

Looks like she loves plants and gardening! image

Hope it's not as slippery in your neck of the woods as it is here.

Absolutely lethal outside, because it's raining and freezing.image

Have a lovely Saturday, whatever you're doing! image

Morning/afties all. Hope you're a little better today Pat. Very wearing for you  image

Hope everyone else who's been a bit unwell is improving. Has doc gone on his hols yet? Think I may have missed him. It'll be a lovely break for him and Mrs doc.

Think my walk might be a tiny bit chilly too Verd - off to snowy Glen Lyon. Hopefully it'll not be too hellish when I get there!

Glad I covered the car....very frosty out there image

Have a good day everyone - stay warm and dry  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning all - enjoy your days everyone .....on the hills, in London, on a plane or just chillin' image

No snow here but very hard frost.  OH and littlest chicklet were outside at 6am to see the space station go by - they are both back snoozing nowimage

Mane taming for me later.  Would like to get out there walking, but think the ankle deserves another few days rest - so looks like it will be gardening mags for me insteadimage

Morning all.  Properly frosty out here; the pond is freezing over and the skies are clear so this morning we will be walking the walk of many many layers!

Does anyone live in the non motorway routes between Halifax and Sheffield?  Keep off the roads on Tuesday; I'm driving a Green Goddess to a school!

Morning all from the frosty Pennines!  image

It's beautiful out there, but OH is under the weather so I'll be walking on my own, I think.  I like my own company when walking, but OH and I do a good line in companionable silence when out... can't be doing with people who jabber on all the time about something inconsequential when I want to look at the wildlife image

Pat, hope you soon begin to improve now you can relax a bit more.

Chicky, enjoy your gardening mags and enforced rest!

DD, that Aquafit class sounded amazing...

Hope Doc & Mrs are having a lovely peaceful time somewhere warm image

Dove, hope you enjoy your foody day...

Womble, you getting better?  Hope so!

Fairy, don't get stuck in the snow image

Everyone I've forgotten, have a great day!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Morning all - beautiful sunny day here but very cold. The snow has frozen hard & it's all very pituresque. Few admin jobs to do this morning then we're heading over to the coast near Felixstowe so OH can take some sunset photographs. Must remember to take hat, gloves and a flask of tea...

Enjoy your day everyone - hope your tummy settles down soon Pat.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
