Morning all. Was thinking of going Christmas shopping but it's a lovely day, would it be better spent in the garden? 9 grandchildren to buy pressies for.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Hi Busy-Lizzie

LP.  All ok with vet - she's as good as she can be at nearly 14. He'd like to remove some more teeth from her, but understands my reluctance for him to do it. She's actually gained some weight which is good.  Hope your MRI is helpful.  image

    Morning all.

The last holiday breakfast has been consumed, so packing then off to airport. Might manage a G&T before we leave.

After the table hic cup on Birthday , the same manager was in one of the other restaurants the other night and had a bottle of bubbles sent over to our table. Went back to Oriental last night and , yup, he'd had a table decorated for us ,, and more bubbles.

What a wonderful time we've had.

Couple from Scotland had to be flown home yesterday as they'd been contacted to tell them their house was under water. That's no way to end a holiday, ( they should have had another week here.)

Not looking forward to the flight as the knee is still in major pain mode.

Have a good day one and all, stay warm and dry.

Catch you all from home tomorrow.

  • Hosta, look at it this way - at least you know exactly the sort of movements/exercise that trigger problems with your knee - you'll be able to tell the medics image

What rotten luck for the Scottish couple image

Have a good journey home image

The weather up North is shocking. Two weeks ago hubby was staying at one of the place in Cockermouth that was flooded at the weekend.  Thankfully he's safe at home at the mo. I am working tomorrow, but OH is working in Richmond on Wednesday so he is going to drop me off for a mooch around Kew during the day.

Anyone fancy a meet up in the princess of wales conservatory?

I might be getting my big 6 ft dandelions for Christmas.  Fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, Hope Bushman is ok the pictures on Sky look awful.  A lot of people will have a battle on their hands this Christmas.

Sorry about the hare Pat.  I once saw two Magpies arguing over a songbird and I have to say it was an experience I don't want to repeat.  I know it's nature but it doesn't make it any easier to witness.  Glad HRH is OK.

Nothing planned for today apart from a visit to mum, garden is too wet even though the sun is shining at the moment.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
