    Morningimage

Hope the tree felling goes well Dove.  We have had to have large trees taken down here before ....I spend the next few weeks feeling like the sky is about to fall in when I go outside ......its a strange sensation that makes you want to duck or put your arms over your headimage.  But new planting possibilities with new conditions are exciting indeedimage.

Nearly there Wsong .....remember "it'll be lovely when its finished"image

Am required at the mines this afternoon - best see if I can find some suitable attire.  Haven't worn heels for weeksimage

I'm not sure what happened today. There haven't been any posts coming through but now that I've sent one, there you all are!

Hello everyone. We've had a stinker today and the air conditioner has had another workout. They are predicting a "southerly buster" this evening. Hope it does come and brings some southerly rain with it, Ive emptied the tank that I use for the veg garden so Hubby braved the hot windy day and turned the bore pump on and filled the tank again for me.  The winds were described on the TV as gale force and the temp was 34c on Hubby's weather station. Everything in the garden is looking very parched and limp.  I'll try to get up early tomorrow and walk around with the hose to rehydrate everything.

i almost envy you with your cold weather!

You're right there GWRS!  We made do with an easy dinner tonight, turkey mince stew on  toast. Quick and easy.

Very best wishes to you and your son RB, big hugs xx

    Morning all.

Just been up the road on my bike to post a letter - brrr - isn't it cold after our oh so mild autumn? (Sorry Pat - my garden and I both struggle with the heat as well - would much rather be a bit chilly & put on a jumper than be wondering just how little I can get away with wearing... image )

SGL - I use the herbal sleep remedies occasionally. They don't always work  but I sometimes find that using them for 2 or 3 consecutive nights can reset my sleeping clock.

Dove - hope the tree fellers (or was it only two - image ) are doing their stuff. If you have a log burner or open fire ash burns really well - nice and hot. If you haven't - remember your friends... image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
