Well said, Fairy. I just couldn't distinguish the difference. Seeing is desiring. I have to admit, just between us, that I did weaken when our visitors were here and Hubby generously produced apple pies (from my frozen unsweetened stewed apples).  I even had ice cream with it.image  Don't tell my Doc, will you.image

Darn!  Don't be a spoil sport Punkdoc.  I only had a little helping, promise.

on another subject, how is your elbow?  Also you haven't talked about your back for a while. Maybe resting your elbow has tested your back?

    Morning all.

Just been out to check the stream, as the noise even with bedroom window closed was so loud. Raging torrent with about 3 foot of water, certainly not going in to remove debris brought down off the moor.

hiya Pat. Elbow very sore, but at least back is ok, probably because I can't do anything.

Want to go back to bed, but a bit full of adrenaline now.

Coffee is on, if anyone wants one.

    See you later.

Morning Punkdoc and anyone else who has lifted their heads.  Sounds as though the rain event that was predicted has eventuated.  Still sunny here, but various clouds hanging around to keep us on our toes.

Pdoc's stream must've been very loud in the night - it had me dreaming of rivers, streams, ponds, pools, bridges - and beautiful rainbow coloured talking fish image

It's very blustery, even here!  I've just had to go out into the garden in my jimjams and fix the windbreak stuff around the purple sprouting - only did a temporary job - I'll do a better fix when I'm dressed.

Hope everyone else has got their hatches well battened down!!! ((hugs))

Morning all. I hope the storm doesn't cause too much damage. Hate to tell you, it's sunny here, but was only 0°.

Morning all. Bad dreams have left me feeling... meh.

Haven't been to see what damage has been caused yet, hopefully nothing too troublesome.
