Hope you're ok Lesley. Difficult situation for you
The sun has made a brief appearance....just as well. Barely in double figures this morning and only made it to fourteen this afternoon. What's that about - don't 'they' know it's July?
I have one of those bits too Topbird....natural corner is a nicer name for it
Off to see what I've missed while I've been out earning some dosh
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
First thing I picked lots of sweet peas, the last of the broad beans, the first of the french beans and some more courgettes. Then it turned damp and drizzly here.
So I went shopping.
5 rubber bungs for demijohns so I can rack off 5 galls blackberry wine.
Sparkly grips for my hair for an updo.
Some pots to repot the expanding cacti collection for himselfs conservatory, and I didn't even acquire another plant. Wyevale have seeds on at half price and I resited those as well.
A spiralizer so I can turn the glut of courgettes into courgette spaghetti.
My horse settled very well in her new home. There are other horse friends there, the girl's father's horse, her outgrown pony and an old rescue horse. But the 3 friends she left in the field here have been calling her all day. The girl was so happy, she's bought matching saddle cloths and headcollar.
Dordogne is looking very yellow and brown after all the hot weather. The thunder storm promised for last night didn't arrive, but it's been cooler and cloudy.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
