Clari, I think toms have had too much heat. In light in a warm room they will germinate without extra heat, just cover with a plastic lid. Just think how deep you'll have to plant them with all that stalk. Mine get first set of true leaves when they are about 1& 1/2" tall.
KEF I think you're right - I've not used a propagator before so its all a little trial and error. I can't believe they grew this much in 10 hours though?! Scared we'll have a jack in the beanstalk situation come morning!
They're now all out and going into the unheated propagator tonight to cool off and hopefully not grow too much more til some more leafs appear.
Hope everyone has had a good day and will have an even better one tomorrow. Rain forecast here - just for a change - but work all day for me so it's not so bad!
Off to watch 'Line of Duty' shortly so will sign off for tonight. Anyone else watching it? Absolutely terrific
Night all.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
The forum is funny tonight (and my smileys have gone AGAIN!). All good Lily thanks, son came home and straight upstairs to get on with some revision for end of unit tests so that's a good sign.
KEF, don't let them pick on you, I'm joining you on the vino but only had a sip so far, done Pilates tonight for the first time and had to go for a soak, don't think I'll be able to move tomorrow!
I admire anyone who does voluntary work and if I won the lottery and didn't have to work I would volunteer. My only doubt would be with myself, I worry too much and not just about my own problems so that would take some self discipline.
