Dove, your garden looks amazing, it will be lovely sat next to your pond in the summer, well done to you and your OH, you have worked so hard
Louise, my eldest had terrible nappy rash once and nothing would work, someone told me to out raw egg in it, sounds really strange but it did work, there must be something soothing in the egg.
I have had a very productive day, moved a few things about so I can now see my tulips that are slowly opening from the back door I have sown LOADS of seeds and all in my GH, courgettes and broccoli and lots of annual seeds, I also found some perennial Papaver Orientalis seeds so I sowed them too.....Happy Tracey
Dove - your pond looks fantastic, and already looks like it has always been there. You carry on sitting and staring in to it - more entertaining than half the stuff on telly at the moment
Supposed to rain most of the day but it hasn't only drizzle so been weeding most of the time Bit achey now but soon off to enjoy but suck ( due to temp' crown) pork tenderloin cooked in apples, onions, thyme & mustard, with the last of the fresh purple sprouting broccoli, OH has dug it out, needed saw to cut stalk up for green bin, would have taken years to rot in my compost.
It looks like the weather forecast was wrong for most of us, yesterday and today (thankfully). I have weeded my veg patch again today ready for the seeds which are hopefully arriving tomorrow.
I've also cleared my potato planters out ready for the spuds hopefully later this week.
Evening all managed to get a few hours done today whilst rain dodging thought I was getting some where till I hit a patch where the previous owners have buried tons of bricks still at least it will be clear when I finish.
Hello Crazyflower, is that your first post on the Forkers thread? Welcome. Glad I'm past the nappy rash era! 7th and 8th grandchildren due May and July.
Just a thought, does anyone know why the cursor always wants to default to the beginning of the text? Meaning that it takes ages sometimes to get the smileys to appear at the end of (or middle) instead of the beginning and of very annoyingly at times...posting pics results in the last one posted always being at the top.
I've tried all the obvious solutions.
That happens to me all the time, David.
Pond looks great, Dove.
We've been out all day at OH's choir's end of concert party. I made Coronation Chicken, which was all eaten. It was fun with a lot of singing after lunch.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Evening all. Just in as it cleared up here too and was very pleasant, so another trellis painted. Would have liked to cut grass but too tired now and trellis was more important. Hope the forecast is wrong tomorrow too and it clears in the afternoon!
Pond looks splendid Dove. In a month or two it will be very settled and chick's right - it's the greatest entertainment. I miss that very much.
Could do with a couple of nice gnomes fishing in it - just to finish it off and give it a really classy look....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

It happens to me too David, sorry I forgot to say earlier, I just go back to the end if my writing and click on it again before posting the smile
Evening everyone. Rained most of day here, then turned very windy.
Didn't get out there today so didn't finish planting last few purchases.
Had a really lazy day while OH was playing golf. Have felt quite low today.
Off to have evening meal see you all later.
